GONE(T) WITH THE WIND

There is a shift taking place in fashion, as in culture at large, towards a rougher, more accessible aesthetic. Vanguard designers such as Gosha Rubinskiy and Demna Gvensalia have reconfigured our idea of what is covetable, their seminal collections exhibited by a new generation of models whose defiantly individual personalities reflect the originality of the clothes they wear.

One of the most arresting of these new faces is California-born August Gonet, formerly a professional gymnast, now turned full-time model. His angular face and delicate complexion bely the intensity of his stare, as though he’s only feigning toughness.
