RESISTANCE

Photographer Camille Rouzaud is fascinated by teenage resistance. A teenage resistance that endures going through physical and emotional changes, that withstands the shifting of perceptions and faces the formation of a new world view. Although grown men and women can look at teenagers with one eye crying, sympathising with their disorientations and embarrassments, and one eye laughing, remembering a youth free of responsibility, they still cannot fully prepare a teenager for the extend of internal confusion that lays before them. But clinging onto the bits and pieces of familiar ground, generation after generation of teenagers find the strength to push through, defy the fear of the unknown, and face life with a kind of immortal courage only a midst-teen human can feel.
