Behind the sash windows of an idyllic household lies this 19th-century-meets-virgin-suicides utopia, its centrepieces long limbed libertines strewn amongst faded furniture and William Morris-esque wallpaper.
The softer elements of the setting’s earthy tones fuse with the bleary aura of the subjects. Shot through the lenses of two photographers, Stas Kalashnikov and Emmie America, it is an intimate double take tale of boredom and sisterhood.
